Rocky Mountain Gateway and Fall River Visitor Center represent the culmination of eight years of planning and effort on the part of a small group of people who wanted to enhance for everyone the experience of journeying to one of America’s most pristine and majestic regions.

Located at the Fall River Road entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, this first ever joint venture between a private company and the US National Park Service was an exciting adventure in a setting of unparalleled beauty and an unforgettable learning experience for you and your family.

In 1987, the Webermeiers sold National Park Village to the current owners who continued its tradition until a tragic fire destroyed much of the complex in 1992. Fortunately, an idea evolved among the owners and some key people within the Park Service which led to a tremendous effort, spanning nearly a decade, resulting finally in Rocky Mountain Gateway and Fall River Visitor Center.
